This semester I will be writing a blog for my social media marketing class.




My blog this year is going to be about the sport teams that I follow.  I'm going to focus more on the Chicago Blackhawks because they are the team I know the least about and I'd like to learn more about the sport of hockey.  I grew up in South Florida so my NBA team is the Miami Heat.  My dad is from Chicago so I am also fans of the Chicago Bears, and the Chicago White Sox.

The Miami Heat are mediocre this year, currently sitting at 7th place in the Eastern Conference.  The trade deadline is coming up so things should get interesting in the NBA.  However, I don't really think the Heat will make any big moves as Pat Riley is trying to clear up cap space to allow for a big offseason when there's many players who are going to be free agents.

The Chicago White Sox have made huge moves this offseason and I think it's going to be a very fun team to watch this year.  They've added Melky Cabrera and many other talented players on the offensive and pitching side.  While all the attention is on the Cubs, I think that the White Sox have a more talented roster.  Should be fun to watch this year.
